April 1st - 30th: Journaling Challenge

I'm so happy to be hosting the April Journaling Challenge! I am a HUGE fan of journaling. Which might not be evident from my pages. Haha. I tend to go all or nothing. I either don't journal at all (and sometimes don't even have a title!) or I write pages and pages.

I wanted to pick a challenge that was relatively open, that everyone can relate to. So all you need to do is pick a picture that represents a special memory... and tell me WHY that memory is special. Tell me the story behind the photo. Tell me who the people are, what you feel when you look at the photo, why you picked it over any other photo.

Since I am making it easy on you guys as far as the topic goes, I'm throwing in another requirement. You must have a significant amount of journaling on your page. I'm going to be pretty lenient about this, but think at least a paragraph or more. :)

Challenge Rules:

- This challenge will run from April 1st until April 30th, 2010

- You must use at least 75% MScraps product. Retired Products and Quickpages do not count!

- You must have a significant amount of journaling on your page. At least a paragraph.

- You must upload your layouts to the Journaling Challenge gallery (http://mscraps.com/gallery/browseimages.php?c=30&userid=) and you must post your layout + link in this thread.

- 1 winner will be picked, shortly after the challenge has closed, to win a $10 GC to the store!

Ugh! imagine me journaling on a page..................!!! LOL! Does thare have to be a photo too??? When you say 75% Mscraps stuff I don't think I'd qualify as my whole page would be writting!!! LOL!

Lol! Yes. This time there has to be a photo, because you have to journal about that specific photo. :P Next time we should do a photoless journaling challenge! I adore those. :D

I absolutely love, love this photo! It was taken about a year ago, when our family really needed rain for our gardens (my mum's a florist and flower-obsessed!). After a long dry spell, God finally answered our prayers and we got a long shower!

It doesn't rain much in Australia, we're in the middle of our longest drought ever, so we love it when our yard gets a good drenching.
