YES, it is!! LOL

Happened to me a few weeks ago and now I am using a screen with colours that are too bright and I can't change that!

Ugh!! Hate computer issues!! I hope you get a new monitor soon. And while you're at it...could you pick up a new power chord for my laptop for me?? :biggrin8:

Don't get me started on power cords....LOL I have to buy a new one every 2 months. I hate Dell.

Yep, they are!
I bought myself a new Samsung one today, after my other fairly new (not a Samsung monitor) one died and I was using a very old one with horrible colours :)

Sounds great Joyce! I have an LG sinds 8 months ago my other died!
How big is yours? Mine 19" wide.
With my computer crashing yesterday I cant seem to get my resolutions back the right way:giggle:so the layouts aren't square anymore!:muahaha:

Ugh, that sucks!!
That happened to me on our laptop as well.
I can't work on that thing anymore, because my layouts and papers aren't square either :giggle:.

I think it's because now it is installed from my videocard and before trough my monitor!
But I'm a bit sick of instlling things now!:wink2:
And I had internetexplorer8 for 1 hour yesterday before my pc chrashed and now I cant get it back! (dont wat to do the stupid upgrate again that crashed my pc yesterday!hahaha

Hubs bought me a Samsung one too last year--luuuurves it! But I remember tolerating my flashing monitor and hitting it a lot so that it would stop flashing. Til finally it just went pffft, lol.

Wooot! Yay for your hubs helping you get set up!

I wish it was just my monitor flashing. I have been having random reboots (blue screen of death !!) and I still havent figured out what the problem is :( I tried to convince DH that I need a new computer but he isnt buying it ! LOL

Think of buying a new monitor as a good experience! They are clean and you don't have to clean the screen for a while!!:gigglesmile:

My computer was acting up so bad I convinced mine a had to have a good one......and buying a computer with a monitor was somehowe cheaper that only the computer!hihihi:Cheerful: So I have a 21" wide monitor now!yeah!

Mine is 6 years old so it is really time to buy a new one. I have a good monitor but if we can get a good deal with a monitor, I'll have two !! :Cheerful: Nooo, my husband would probably start using that monitor since he has been talking about a 21 or 23" wide monitor. He can have a new monitor and I'll buy a new computer. Sounds like a good deal to me :)
