I have a question for links. Are we allowed to link to our Twitter and Facebook in our signatures?

Thanks for the clarifications, Joyce! :)
Sounds more than fair and reasonable. Thank you for setting it out all up front from the beginning.

Bumping!!
Just to remind you that advertising other sites and linking to other sites than mscraps is not allowed!
This also means that you are not allowed to advertise non-(digital)scrapbooking sites! (like jewellery, printing service, etc.)
Thanks, everyone!

I can't upload more layouts to the gallery, I uploaded 3 yesterday morning and tried to upload the rest of the challenges and it says I exceeded the limit of 6 per day but I only uploaded 3 and now more than 24hs later still doesn't allow me to upload, is there a way to fix that please?

I also have a problem in the gallery ... when looking at galleries, I like to see the most recent layouts first, but regardless of the "sort by" or the order, the layouts remain in the same order.
Looking at my own photos in the gallery, I don't seem to have this problem.
Thank you in advance ! :wink3:

sorry girls, I didn't see these questions...
kakleidesigns (http://mscraps.com/forum/member.php?u=1266) I hope your problem has been solved, I have no idea what might have caused that
DoggiNo (http://mscraps.com/forum/member.php?u=604), we are aware of this and we have tried to fix it, but we can't for some reason. :(
This only happens when you click on "my gallery" here at the forum.
What you can do is, click on "my gallery" here on the forum, click on a layout and then click on the gallery icon underneath the persons avatar ;)
example:

http://www.mscraps.com/galleri/images/pictures.png (http://www.mscraps.com/galleri/showgallery.php?ppuser=604&username=doggino) <--------- click here!!
The layouts will then show up properly (last added - old)

Is the text "CT for Blablabla" or a blinkie from the Blablabla CT (Blablabla being the name of the store) considered as advertising ? Both without a link of course.

From the Forum Rules:
FORUM GUIDELINES:
#1 - no outside linking or advertising (you may link to your own personal blog, personal twitter account
#1 - and/or personal facebook account in your signature)
#2 - feel free to post your CT Blinkies in your signature, as long as rule #1 is followed.
#3 - no hostility. be nice to each other!
#4 - no sPam and no advertising for other stores in forum or signatures.
See #1 and #2 - it looks like you can say where you CT for, as long as you don't link to it.

Yes ... but if the blinkie has to url or store name, it could still be seen as advertising, no ? Sorry, just me being the paranoid. :ashamed0001:

My take on it is that you should not have a url, but if you're a store CT, then the name of the store is fine.
the question is: what is considered as advertising

Exactly ! Thanks, Romy, for putting that in a clear and simple question for me. :biggrin8:
No url but the store name is ok ... what if the store name is the url (in most if not all cases) and the url in on the blinkie ? I know I am making life much too complicated :giggle:

Let's try not to make this too complicated - LOL
(CT) Blinkies are allowed, linking isn't! (linking to PERSONAL websites (blog, fb, etc.) is OK!)

Thanks Joyce ! I know "complicated" could be my middle name, lucky me that my parents picked something else :rofl2:

I have a doubt about posting in the Gallery...
Yesterday, I posted 3 images there, and since then, I cannot upload any other image... The error I receive is: "You have exceeded your upload limit of 6 images per day."
I didn't understand that... I just uploaded 3 images... Can anyone help me to understand that?

Hmmmm - this would be a question for Joyce. So I am bumping this - but you probably fioxed it!
I do know, coming from Australia, where our new day starts 12-20 hours before USA that a posting for "a day" usually means the website's day - so the 3 you posted could have still been within that day - but I am not sure about the 3 pages rather than 6.
Hopefully Joyce will see this - be even more hopeful is that it's all fixed!!!
If you need to contact Joyce you can do so at admin@mscraps.com

I think you have added your layouts to multiple categories?
for example: designer A and designer B?
That's probably why it says: 6 images.
The upload limit is 3 pages per 24 hours, so if you have uploaded 3 images say now, you can upload new images at the same time tomorrow!
Hope this makes sense ;) x
