July 1-July 31 Journaling Challenge

It is me this month for the host of the journal challenge. I'm a total journal freak for the most part so this is a favorite challenge for me. Since I'm about to head off into the days of Summer, as are so many around the world, I think it is appropriate to journal about summer. More specifically I want to read about your summer family traditions. I find it interesting what others do on long summer afternoons so don't give me a blurp either :).

At least five sentences sharing what you do with your family, or even something you do on your own during the summer. It could be about family BBQs, family reunions, sunbathing at your favorite spot on the beach, or even dips in the lake.

So get your thinking caps on and share what you do. Here is my LO to give you some inspiration.

For the rules:

* This challenge will run from July 1st until July 31st, 2010

* You must use at least 75% MScraps product. (retired products and quickpages do not count)

* You must upload your layouts to the Journal challenge gallery (http://www.mscraps.com/galleri /showgallery.php?cat=30) and you must post your layout + link in this thread.

* 1 winner will be picked shortly after the challenge has closed and will win a $10 GC to the store!

OMG these layouts are so gorgeous I have saved them all to my favourites. Summertime in America sounds so delicious, you've really bottled the feeling of it in your layout Cheryl. journaling is about us going out with our boat at summers. to a beach in the lake, just us, swimming, playing, relaxing. that´s soooo great!! everyone´s enjoying it! this summer was extremely hot and the water too. lovely!

My entry, on all the fun stuff we do in the summer. Sadly not this year, as my eldest DD has bronchitis and has been in bed for the last two weeks. Try explaining to a sick seven-year old she's missing most of her summer vacation. :sad:
