Hi everyone

My names Shary and I've just recently found Mscraps. I've already joined in with two challenges and hoping to do lots more!
I'm currently living in Germany as hubby is in the British Forces but moving to Scotland in January. I have 4 kids ages 19, 17, 8 and 7 and two daft lab dogs, one is 2 and the other is 16 weeks.
I used to make cards and scrapbook but since finding digiscrapping I seem to have left those behind!
Really looking forward to getting to know you all.

Thanks for the welcome Helen. No the kids aren't too keen on it at all because it means moving schools. But when we go to Scotland it means for good this time so we can all finally settle. x

I like the fact that you jumped right in! (challenges)

My hubby used to be in the RAF and used to be based in Germany (Brüggen) as well.
Bruggen is very close to where I used to live in The Netherlands, so he went "clubbing" in there.
That's how we met! :wink2:

With me it was different. We moved a lot for dad's work. I'm from England and our first moved was when I was almost 3. To ILL, USA and then 5 and a half years later to NY, USA and 4 and a half years later back to europe, Holland. Dad moved again to Sweden for 2 yrs. He didn't want to put us through another move so every other weekend he came back home. I hated the move to Holland but I don't regret it that much now. I can understand that you must be happy to finally be able to settle soon!

We have a couple of people from Scotland here - Sophie (Poly & Rufus Designs) and ......er......um.....oh heck.........gee I can't remember! Agh Nue eigh! :25r30wi:

Must be so hard on the kids to keep moving - as well as you. You must all be looking forward to next year then!

Hi Shary! I had to laugh when I read about your cardmaking and scrapbooking... I have tons of paper supplies lurking in my closet as well! I do the occasional card for swaps and birthdays and such, but the rest is devoted to the Dark Side... Welcome to MScraps! :flower2:
