I always love to hear what other digital scrappers do with their layouts. Do they live in your computer or do you actually print them in some way?
What do you do? Print at home, print individually, or put your layouts in photobooks?
Who do you use for printing?
For me, I had originally thought that I would print individually and add the layouts to my albums with my paper layouts. That worked out for a little while but I quickly realized that was getting too expensive. Now I save up and put layouts in photobooks.
For individual layouts, I have used Costco and Pages to Treasure and have been very happy with both.
For photobooks, I have used Snapfish, My Pic Tales, and Inkubook. I have to say that I prefer Inkubook and only used the other two because I had coupons. Inkubook is always my first choice.
So what about you?

There are a few local printers here, but I usually print single pages as photos from my neighborhood photo developing shop, lol. I am putting together a book though and plan to have it printed hardbound. I'd love to print with companies like Shutterfly or Scrapping Simply, but the international shipping fees alone (I live on the other side of the world) would kill me, lol.

I make a photobook every year for my DD. I let them print at Pixum (I think that is a European firm) and I'm very glad with the results.

Last May, I put together an album for each of the mom/grandma's. I printed individual pages, to put in traditional SB album. I waited until the last minute and printed them out at home myself, oh man was that expensive with the amount of ink I went through. I do like printing my layouts as individual pages and need to send some for printing (so they aren't living in my computer). I've heard Scrapbooks to Share for printing and want to give them a try. I print my pages in 8x8 and it's $1/page with them...much cheaper than printing at home, when you factor in ink.

Each year I make a photobook for each of my girls to document the year (I do it by birth month - birthday) and I also print all my pages individually and put in albums. I get the photobooks usually from Artscow, and I print the individual pages through Scrapbooks Please. I want to try out Persnickety Prints for the individuals, because they have a flat shipping rate, which will save me some money!

I work in a print shop and have connections with local printers, I design things for some of their clients and my own clients. I can get them printed for about 30 cents with an 8X8 layout (perks of working there). Sometimes I barter with other print shops. I will bind them with a clear cover and a regency backing. They turn out wonderful. It saves on the cost of ink and supplies. I make them through out the year and for special family members.
I love hearing what people do with their digi layouts, because I actually have a professional photo printer in my house that I bought to do just that! I have a home business printing photos and digi scrap pages for people. I love it! Its like free inspiration when I print someone's scrappy order! :biggrin8:

Lex try snapfish.co.uk they are UK based but the shipping might be more reasonable.
