Hi All!
I just created a page, with a Three Paper Peonies add on for a kit at MScraps, but the Add On is only available on 3PPs website (I can't see it in the shop here, it's the Add On for the January kit (http://www.mscraps.com/shop/product.php?productid=2080&cat=0&page=))
So I made this page, a scrap lift of a featured scrapper, and then realised the items I used where nowhere in the shop.

My questions would be

1) Is it OK to add to the gallery (being it's not MScraps per se, but I could link to the January kit?)

If the answer to 1) is no, then I'm all done. Thanks :)
If the answer to 1) is yes, this brings the next question;

2) would it be OK to upload to the scrap lift gallery? or is that pushing my luck?

Doesn't matter either way because the page is pretty and I'm going to keep it. But I was wondering. And I'd like to know :giggle:

Thanks (again for answering all my questions).

EDITED TO ADD: the add on (just went to 3PP's blog) was available to newsletter subscribers of MScraps newsletter.... if that changes anything?

Hi France, some time ago I had the same question this is the answer from then :

It's ok to use freebies as long as you've downloaded them from our store (http://www.mscraps.com/forum/../shop/home.php?cat=25) and they're still available at the time you post your layout(s).

http://www.mscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2751&page=2

Hope this helps.

thanks for that (I should have looked deeper in the forum :eyerub:)
so the freebies came with the newsletter... from the store... but aren't available to people who come shop/browse the store, so then I guess the answer would be no... :confused24:

Hun if I were you I would delete this thread (or I can do for you!) and just post it with the name of the full kit available here and in brackets mention it's an addon from 3PP website!

That's what I would do - not saying that's what you SHOULD do!!!

Hun if the freebie came with the Mscraps newsletter then that's fine. Just menion in credits that it was a newsletter freebie.

No worries mate! :flower2:

You know, it was good, I reworked it and found papers from other MScraps kits that fit (some were also by 3PP) and I'm happy with it. sometimes a bit of a snag boosts creativity.
If you think this thread should be deleted Suzie, you have my blessing :worship:
I'm looking around and can't find a delete button (not big enough to see anyway!)
thanks ;)

wait, i'm confused, so we can only upload LOs that were done from MScraps products? Or is that just for challenges and stuff?

Hi Kayleigh,
from what it says on the front page of the gallery, LOs in the gallery must contain SOME MScraps products
http://i741.photobucket.com/albums/xx51/memory_scraps/mscraps-galleryguidelines3.jpg
so I guess my LO would have been OK for the gallery as products came from MScraps, but only to gallery subscribers, but I would have promoted the set the add on was for (papers were similar)...
but for challenges it's different, yes, it's 75% current MScraps products.

But now I just *thought a bit* and went to see the ScrapLift Featured Scrapper rules and it does state:
*Must use 75% CURRENT Mscraps products. *

ahhhhh, it's all coming together now......

thanks for your input, Kayleigh, as I hadn't quite realised that my LO would have been OK for just the gallery though.

So I've actually learned something today and I've only been out of bed for 8 minutes!
