Have you got one or some.

My current one is daytime TV when my daughter is at nursery, like bad debate style news shoes where people talk about "the issues of the day" not quite the view but almost they usually feature soap stars that haven't been seen for 10 years and are trying to launch their music careers :loudlaff:

You?

I would have to say my guilty pleasure is Fan Fiction. I have read all the Kathy Reichs Books (where the TV show Bones came from); all the Sookie Stackhouse Books (where True Blood came from) and of course all the Twilight books...so to get my fix I turn to their Fan Fiction. So far my all time fave is Wide Awake, which is a Twilight FanFic.

Ugh mine would have to be food - chocolates! Especially dark chocolates, which i love to munch on along with coffee. Would compulsive shopping count as one, too? Lol

Oh another guilty pleasure - watching that Ian guy who plays Damon in Vampire Diaries. Sigh. I can watch him all day long...

Guilty Pleasures?... Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, Iris Johansen, and Brian Jacques' Redwall Series (Mom read to me, now I am reading it to my son).

I don't feel remotely guilty about it, but I love to watch LOST and Grey's Anatomy. I am also an avid American Idol viewer, but only when it's recorded so I can skip through the 30 minutes of commercials.

My fave thing to do is to drop my son off at Pre-K (he's there for 2.5 hours in the morning) and then I come home and surf forums and scrap. It's definitely my most favorite time of the day!

I refuse to feel guilty for any form of pleasure :) But, I do have a love for milk chocolate (none of that fancy dark stuff for me!) reality TV (Biggest Loser and Survivor), and clothes shopping.

Holey moley I have TONS. Seriously. Fan fiction in general *waves to Lei* of my favorite TV series, movies, books, and anime. YES, I am an anime/manga fan! lol And um, "meet cute" movies AKA rom-coms. I just finished watching "Clueless" again, lol. Before that it was "50 First Dates." :loudlaff:

LOL...I watch the same movie over and over everynight for a few months. I usually put it on while I'm scrapping so I don't really "watch" it but I'm probably able to recite every line from Sense and Sensibility, Wedding Crashers, Twilight, What Happens in Vegas, Dumb and Dumber (I know, I know..lol) and my two new favorties have been Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins and The Good Shepherd (although this one is a bit deep for mindless entertainment). I love Starbucks and spend waaaayyy to much money on it..but it's not my fault they built one a half a mile from my house.

I love to watch, read and listen to Twilight. I have the actual books and the audio books on my zune, I'm forever reading and/or listening. And now my newest guilty pleasure is watching the Vampire Diaries.

For those of you that love Twilight (books and movies) you should definitly check out the Twilight Fan Fiction over at FanFiction (http://www.fanfiction.net/book/Twilight/) and/or Twilighted (http://www.twilighted.net/). Good stuff! You can find anything from kid friendly stories to more adult themed. Stories that go along with the actual Twilight Books and stories that have nothing to do with Twilight other than the characters you've come to love.

That sounds fab but I've got a weird thing about having to read stories by the original author and I just cannot push that out of my head like those stories didn't come from the inventors imagination so they don't really count. Does that sounds nuts, Doug gets mad at me because he has hundreds of Star Wars novels and even though I'm a huge star wars geek I won't read them because George didn't write them. It was the same with Peter Pan in Scarlet I just couldn't love it because if JM Barrie didn't write it then it doesn't count. The stupid thing is I bet I'd enjoy them but I'm such a weirdo I wouldn't be able to :25r30wi: xxx

Step Brothers is one of my favorites! You know that scene where John C Reilly has on an orange shirt that says Milford, PA on it-that's my hometown!!! I love that scene where they are eating dinner and the parents have salads and whatever else and the other two are eating chicken nuggets and blue kool aid...and the drumset scene (you know what I'm talking about...omg)

I'm glad someone else does this as well...my DH also thinks I'm nuts for doing it!! I will tell him my super cool friend Sophie does it too, that'll teach him :)

That is awesome Kelly you are now even cooler, yes that scene, I love the fight scene too and the interviews... I have a minor Will Ferrel crush, just the funniest man on Earth. I think we both just have lame partners it's not our fault we're addicted to the same movies over and over :D xxx

Sophie, I totally understand. There are some aspects of fan fiction I won't touch (adult-themed Pride & Prejudice? er, not my cuppa tea. I prefer it nice and Regency PG-13, lol). I won't read Buffy fanfiction, though I love the series so much. Which is so weird because the Buffy fanfiction universe is HUGE, one of the biggest on the web.

I've found some really sweet Peter Pan fanfic. And (ak another confesssion!) I've written one myself :25r30wi:

And I luuuurves me some Disney. Mark & I watched Princess and the Frog last week and I was kinda meh about it. Maybe I was in a mood, but it didn't feel like the earlier Princess movies.

My favorite is The Little Mermaid :) My favorite classic (er, earlier than the 90s) Disney Princess is Sleeping Beauty :)

Oh I have two....Howard Stern and South Park. Yeah, DH and I love South Park and just crack up hysterically. We used to watch Howard on TV all the time before he went to Sirius. Now we just listen to him once in a while.
Both of those, South park and Howard are either love em or hate em kind of things.

Yep, we tend to watch all the Dr. Drew Shows, Behind the Music, That Metal Show, (my old man is a musician that grew up, and played lots of shows, in the 80s), and of course all the shows with girls walking around in their little bikinis and guys in their board shorts and no shirts.:biggrin8:

You ladies are hilarious!

So for me...Big Love, Gap Jeans, Philippa Gregory Novels (I have a thing for the Tudor rein), ice cream for dinner, and the occasional Coach bag.

One more thing (and a dirty secret my husband & I share)... the moment we drop the girls off at Grandmas for a date away from our girls, the first thing we do is buy a pack of cigarettes. We don't smoke any other time and we toss the pack that night. I think its our only way of occasionally reliving the coolness of our youth and reminiscing the wilder days. We go in corners of parking lots to do it like were about to be busted by our parents any minute. It feels sneaky & naughty...and I love it. :25r30wi:
