Seriously ... a little monster.
So she starts nursery at 9am... At 8.50am I start getting ready to leave (it's just beside my house) and realise my keys are NOWHERE to be seen! I searched everywhere, pulled out all of the furniture, lifted mattresses pulled everything out of the cupboards, even ran downstairs to make sure they weren't on the doorstep and accidentally let the housecat out in the process... caught cat, resumed search... 35 minutes later I got a sudden inclination to ask Ava "Did you take mummy's keys!"
"Yes!" She replies...
"Where did you put them?"
"I don't know!"
AHHHH so pull everything out of the toy cupboard, get a funny feeling I should look inside boxes and a decade later I found them inside her plastic "elefun" elephant!!!
Little monkey seriously I'd had to previously phone her nursery and say I wouldn't be bringing her so I had to run her in quickly and explain (I couldn't just leave my house open as I live in the city.)
**Sigh** so 3 year old available, free to a good home :25r30wi:

As a mom to a 3.5yr old DD, I can relate to your story. This age is certainly a lot of F-U-N...haha!

Keys and cellphones....of course, my kiddos don't mess with them anymore and I still can't find them! LOL
I miss having little toddlers running around though.... my daughter lets me pretend she's still little sometimes but it's still not the same. hehe ;)

I totally agree, it is fun! My DD is a star in timing: ready to go to kindergarten, jacket on, scarf, gloves, everything on...and then she says: 'mummy, I need to go to the toilet'...grrrrr! Oh yes, three years old is F-U-N!

You want to exchange her with my 3 year old?!!!! :) But that's totally something she would've done too, actually she has done things like that before.

When my son was younger he would take credit cards from the wallet and swipe them in the cracks of the couch, I caught him in the act one and it was too funny.

Naughty little monkey!
At my home, Mommy's purse is OFF LIMITS. I'm very particular about my cell phone and keys. There's one spot for my purse in the house and one spot inside my purse for my keys. Ditto with the cell phone, although when I come home, it goes on the bar to be charged.
Having my keys removed and then hid would drive me insane as I love everything having a place and actually being in the designated place.
This is all because I worked for a law firm handling thousands of files, and invariably, someone would take a file or files and not put the OUT form ~ leading to me hunting high and low for a file folder. Like hours. SUCH a waste of time.
I'm not OCD or anything. :blunke:

Loved your story. Yes, being 3 is all about being in a hurry to make others late. hahaha. It takes mine forever and a day to get his shoes on...and he wears crocs. hahaha. I still suppose 3 is better than 13, though. Don't know yet and not sure I want to find out. :biggrin8:

That's too funny Sophie! reminds me why I'm still single lol :-D But she and my nephews would definitely go along well together. They're like 4 and 6 years old, I think. They know all the tricks there are to make their parent's - and mine too whenever they come for a visit- difficult. They drive me crazy but I love them to death, what can I say lol :-)

Ha I'm so glad I'm not alone she's so cheeky I hid my keys yesterday so no problems getting out this morning :D Cheryl I'm the same OCD way they live in my bag, on a hook in the closet my problem is Doug takes them out if he's running out to do something quickly (because he can never find his own) then dumps them on the hall table... where Ava sneaks off with them :) xxx

LOL!!!!!!! isn't toddlerhood bliss?! :25r30wi:
Too funny!! :) Nik (3 yrs old) is always hiding things - hubby's belts are a favorite thing to hide!! At least he usually hides things in the same place so not too hard to find them again!
