Well this day was no other then any other Monday... Started working at 7.30AM... Turned out, since the kids are off of school, we didn't had a lot of kids at daycare. Some stayed home since their older brother or sister also stayed home and...
I went home at 1PM!!! I love it... so drove home and picked up something for diner first... And here I am...
I've got tons of things to do, like process photos (1250!!!) from the wedding shoot I had on thursday, clean out my closet with clothes, clean the kitchen... but really, I just wanna enjoy my day off....cause well, this never happens!
What are you doing today... working, scrapping, cleaning the house... please share?

But I'm also happy for you!! (enjoy your afternoon off!!)
I'm at work.
I will be heading home in about 2 1/2 hours.

I say enjoy your afternoon off and do whatever you want :)
It's just after 8am right now where I am, so I am at work. I started a page yesterday afternoon and hope to finish it tonight, but I won't get to play until after my girls go to bed.

I just picked up Ava from nursery and went food shopping then we had a cookie and milk (tea for me) I just sneaked online but I'm going to go play games with the kiddo now I think oh and make a bagel. xxx

That sounds really relaxing!!
I am at home now after a eight hours work day. We just had dinner and at eight I am off to run my 10 km, hope the rain will stop for about an hour....
And then I'll take a shower, watch some tv and go to bed, boring isn't it??

Enjoy your time off...no matter how you spend that time.
As for me, I'm just catching up on all the post from yesterday. EJ and I went to MusInk (tattoo convention and concert) yesterday. Thinking that there were going to be lots of vendors and tattoo artists, we left early, getting there about 2pm. Turned out to be smaller than we expected. So we walked around for awhile, watched a few smaller bands play outside, ate yummy food, and walked around some more. By the time the two big bands started playing (7:30pm) my feet were killing me. But even aching feet couldn't stop me from enjoying Face to Face and NOFX! So all in all EJ and I had a Rockin time. And today we are just recovering, well I am.:biggrin8:

I did some blog design today and some organization . . . made beds, cleaned up kitchen after bfast and lunch, washed a load of clothes, went to the library, played tickle games with Daniel, watched a tv show with Daniel, LEGOS with Daniel . . . oh, and I read for a few minutes when I ate lunch.
Now I'm forum surfing. I hope to scrap some this afternoon and evening.
I'm cooking meatloaf and mashed potatoes for dinner and will serve with a salad . . . so . . . that shouldn't take too long.

YAY for days off, Petra!!! I say do what you want, you've earned it! :D
It's Tuesday AM over here and I'm mulling over what to cook for breakfast (SO strange to hear that from me because I don't usually cook it's the hubs). Hoping to finish scrapping a page before I have to make some calls and write a bit for work. Later in the day I'll be updating my resume and portfolio and if I am feeling industrious I will organize my closet. IF. :biggrin8:
Cheryl, do you do blog design? Am trying to start designing a blog from scratch and the coding is driving me bananas, lol!

Petra can we trade places? Please? I want a day off!! I need my one day of rest darn it :-(
I'm here in the ferry in the midst of a 5-hour trip to cover the President's visit in the neighboring island (Cebu). I can see my week already- beating deadlines, 4-hour sleeptime, eyebags and dark circles around my eyes that no amount of concealer can hide! Somebody please wave a magic wand and make it all go away! Lol :-(
PS- at least they got free wifi on the boat hehe

Rachelle are you a reporter? For what daily? And um, yes, I could think of better things to do than follow the president around :biggrin8:
As for dark circles and eyebags, I am the poster child of such. I've given up on concealer and just pile on the eye cream and up my skill level with Photoshop's clone stamp tool :25r30wi:

Lex, I work so hard I got so many employers:clown: Kidding aside, I work fulltime as gov't journalist (for PIA) and part-time as editor-slash-reporter-slash-coffeemaker (lol) in my father's newspaper biz (a local community weekly) and moonlight for several other media outfits, most of which are local. Poof, there goes my social life!
Which is why I envy Petra! To have a an unexpected day off. Still waiting for someone to wave that magic wand...:biggrin8:

To be honest I am glad it was smaller than expected, otherwise I would have had to make EJ go back out to the car and get the wheelchair. And I am not one that is fond of sitting in the darn thing. I tend to push myself to extremes, when I know darn well that my doctor would kill me if he knew.:blunke: But it's hard to deal with the dirty/weird looks I get from people, cause I don't "look" as sick as I am.
We got what we wanted out of the day...
EJ- contact info for Gill Montie, and a little one on one with him to talk about the work he wants done.
Me-checking out work of new (to me) artists, and some shopping.
Both of us - check out all the tattooed hotties, and see the bands.
So yes we had a blast! Maybe with the success of MusInk, more tattoo conventions will have more/bigger bands tour with them, this way you can enjoy the fun too.
