First off, hello and welcome to the March Journaling Challenge!
This month is all about music, and its role in our lives. You can write about anything from the lullaby that was sung to you as a child or that you sing/sang to your child; your wedding song and why you chose it; the song that personifies your life; the song that makes you think of someone every time you hear it; to the one song that always gets stuck in your head. It’s up to you, just remember this is a journaling challenge so I want to see more than just the use of song titles or lyrics in your LO.
If you suffer from loss of mojo, don’t let it keep you from playing along. You can find some fabulous templates here (http://www.mscraps.com/shop/home.php?cat=9&sort=date_added&sort_direction=0&page=1) in the store. Sophie (Polly & Rufus Designs (http://www.mscraps.com/shop/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=11)), Ing (iScraps (http://www.mscraps.com/shop/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=7)), and Guest Designer Lizzy (Fizzy Pop Designs (http://www.mscraps.com/shop/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=21)) have some awesome “journaling” templates. But really any of the gorgeous layout templates will work perfectly, including the freebie templates that you may have picked up last month while following the MScraps Blog Train. All you have to do is add your journaling to the white space.
Challenge Rules:
- This challenge will run from March 1st until March 31st, 2010
- You must use at least 75% MScraps product.
- You must upload your layouts to the Journaling Challenge gallery (http://mscraps.com/gallery/browseimages.php?c=30&userid=) and you must post your layout + link in this thread. (copy and paste the BB Image Code found underneath your uploaded layout.)
- 1 winner will be picked, shortly after the challenge has closed, to win a $10 GC to the store!
I can't wait to see what you all come up with. Have fun, and good luck to everyone that plays along.
