Would you like to be notified (via e-mail) when we post a new thread in a certain (sub)forum or when comments have been posted in a particular thread?

This is how you can set it up:

Subscribe to a forum:

Open the forum
Click on Forum Tools (top right)
Click on Subscribe to Forum
Choose your Notification Type and click "add subscription"

Subscribe to a Thread:

Open the Thread
Click on Thread Tools (top right)
Click on Subscribe to Thread
Choose your Notification Type and click "add subscription"

Hope this helps!

Thanks Joyce! I know there's somewhere else where you can automate subscription to all threads to which you post... because I checked it at some point and I can't find where to uncheck it, but it's ok, because I go in my CP regularly and unsubscribe to some threads, otherwise it does give me some fun mail to read :giggle:

still  this forum!

LOL, France!!

You have got to uncheck this option when you post a thread or post a reply here on the FORUM:

Click on "go advanced" and then change:

Additional Options:

Thread Subscription
Notification Type (dropdown menu):
Do not subscribe
No email notification
Instant email notification
Daily email notification
Weekly email notification

And when you upload a layout to the GALLERY, you will find these options:

Extra Options:

Want to be notified by email when users post replies (dropdown menu)?
no
yes

I think that it remembers your "choice", so if you have enabled it once, you'll keep getting messages unless you uncheck it the next time! :glis:

Hope this helps!

That is so helpful, Joyce! So many people start digi scrapping and go to the sites and dont know the ins and outs. From the outside, it feels like a secret society! lol
Having hints like this and your last one about clicking on 'new posts' to see the most current stuff are awesome and really are a part of what makes Mscraps stand out. You have really have something for every level of scrapper to get involved or spectate as they feel comfortable. And then you provide the help to navigate some of the maze for us!

Thanks so much! Keep it up!

Linda
