Anyone watch Idol last night?

I was SO impressed with a few of the chickies....the other ones annoyed me. LOL Only because you KNOW they can blow but pick weird songs.

My fave last night was Crystal B. I'm surprised by DiDi and Lacey... sorta liked them last night too. I seriously loved what DiDi did with that song.... I may have to check it out on Itunes.

Ok, enough AI geekiness until tomorrow. hehe ;)

I don't know why I'm having such a problem getting hooked on any of the contestants this year. I love Crystal...she's really the only one I'm cheering for...she's awesome. I was very underwhelmed by the girlies...I dunno...could've been my mood. :biggrin8:

NO ONE has blown me away. it all feels like i've heard it before and no one is in it to win it.

lacey did nothing for me.

crystal was her same self and just whatever.

didi was good but could've been better.

lilly was fun and quirky but could've done better.

and those are the critiques on the ones i liked. LOL!!! honestly, they all seem to me like they are wasting an amazing opportunity. someone needs to blow me away already.

Oh thank goodness, Lizzy...I thought I was just in a bad mood or something but everyone is just sort of singing. Yeh, they're good but it's like...meh, so what. No one is taking chances like David Cook or Adam Lambert did. Love 'em or hate 'em...they were in it to win. They definitely need to step up the game and bring it.

the boys did soooooo much better misty!!!! again, no one gave me goosebumps or anything but they were WAAAAAAY better than the girls. big mike made kara cry. it was a pretty amazing performance. not a song that i love in particular but he just fully gave himself to the performance, sang it flawlessly and showed that he was in it to win it. that is what i want to feel from all of the contestants.

i'm a major fan of the indie/singer/songwriter vibe...but enough already of everyone sitting on a stool singing and sounding pretty much like the person just before them. it's probably because i think he's so cute, but i like lee for the guys. and i kinda don't get what was with kara crying at that one song. i must have missed something. but i did like crystal, although i think she chose a really obvious song. i dunno...no one seems like a star to me.
