Facebook Exclusive issues

Hey ladies,

I've been having problems with Facebook and the exclusive tab that is on some of the designers pages.
So......when i go to a page and "like" them.....i can see their logo on the left hand side and under that is a heap of tabs with info, photos, blog, newsletter etc that kind of information.
I often head to their FB page for an 'exclusive freebie' but when i get there - there is no "exclusive" tab on the LHS.
I've waited a few days to see if it pops up - but still none.

This is what i've tried:
I use a mac - all updates are up to date!
both Safari and Firefox browser
logging in and out and in and out
tried using http://www.facebook.com/
and https://www.facebook.com/ for secure browsing

i'm a bit dumbfounded now.

I haven't gone through the MScraps blog train yet..... i know that about 1/2 of them are Facebook freebies......i don't think any of them are going to work for me........not meaning to be negative.....but past history seems to indicate that this will be a problem

Has anyone had this problem?
Has anyone heard of this kind of problem?
Have i done something wrong? (maybe in past life?:rofl2:)

any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated

Mine is on Facebook just in a post I made--I don't have an exclusive tab. But perhaps you've visited exclusive tabs where the freebie has run out, and that's why you didn't find anything? I don't know, I've never had a problem for the few I've picked up...

I've experienced this too. I have no explanation, as I was never able to figure out why some exclusive links didn't seem to work (even new links, but Heather raises a good point about possible expirations).

But, I can tell you that I just went through the whole blog train on my Mac and all the links were fine! A couple of designers were later than others in linking, but I think they're all linked now. I usually click "like" first, then the exclusive tab, and that seems to be the better order. HTH

So liz - did you see the exclusive tab on Mye De Leon's page? i'm having trouble with her's.......off to check out the others now.

I got it!!!!
I found the problem!!!
it turns out i had an app that was blocked.......here is what i did to fix it

Account
Privacy Settings
Next page should be "Choosing your privacy settings"
look to bottom of the page - there should be 3 choices at bottom......go to "block lists"
Click on 'edit your lists"
At the bottom it should list blocked apps......(yes i've blocked a few dodgy apps)

Then i saw that the "Exclusive Tab Promotion Offer" was blocked.....so i unblocked it and
WHALA!

I now can see the exclusive Tab.

Anyhow i hope this helps others if they're having troubles with this little issue

Glad you got it sorted - I was just going to post that you need to 'like' first and that I'd not had any problems (well none not caused by my internet connection). Didn't know about that setting and I'm so feeble with Facebook I would never have found a solution, so thanks for sharing for anyone else with that problem.
