G'Day from WA!!!!!!!!!

Hellloooooo girls! (sorry are there any guys here?) Just thought I would say hi! been hearing lots of great stuff about this site! Now you have lots to live up to!! LOL!

So to bore everyone: I am mum to George (10) and Thomas (5). Oh and I have the maddest silliest giant golden retrieverxstandard poodle "GRoodle" dog called Bim - who thinks she's a tiny kitten! Especially when I walk her in the bush and she pounces on stuff (hopefully not snakes.........!!!)

I live about 12 minutes north of Perth, Western Australia - the most isolated capital city in the world - which means we don't get bugs like swine flu and don't really suffer major economic downturns which is all well and good but imagine......we never get the good bands/musicals/plays/etc!!! Terrible hey! Oh and we still have shopping hours 9am to 5.30pm and late night Thursday shopping! How old fashioned are we!!! In fact we just had the worst storm in 50 years and Perth was declared a distaster zone - and I think that might have put us on the world map at last!

I am an Photoshop digi scrap article writer for Australia's Scrapbooking Memories magazine.

I am a cub scout leader and a CANTEEN volunteer (kids with cancer).

So I have just spent 3 solid months renovating our house and garden ready to sell (first home open this weekend!) so I am almost ready to get back into the digi scrapping again as I took a break.

That's about it really! Oh I work 2 days a week as a medical receptionist for a sports clinic (ha take one look at me and I am absolutely no advert for sport!!! - ah well not so true as I do look like a ball!! LOL!)

ANyway, so I am hoping to make this my new digi home (I am one of the homeless Pixel Canvas mob!)

Hi Joyce! Not Joondalup (pretty impressed though!!!) but half way between perth city and Joondalup - near karrinyup (you MUST have been to the shopping centre there!!! Everyone loves it!) Well when you come we'll have to arrange something hey - do you have kids? how old? Maybe a picnic in a park - a vineyard underneath the Jacaranda trees???! I'll provide the picnic of course! You and I can go to the wine tasting and leave kids with dads!!! Anyway - long way off - we don't even know eachother yet! You'll probably hate me and think I am an utter bore like most (!!!).

YES!!! I have been there!!
And while my hubby and I were there last year we met some people that we hadn't seen in years!
We were thinking about them and said to each other what a shame it was that we didn't have their number or address. (we met them while they were staying in the netherlands for a year in 2003/2004)
They live there too!

No, we haven't got any kids unfortunately.
We have been trying to have a baby for 5/6 years :-(
We are getting some help from the doctors now though :rolleyes:

And my new projects are going fine, thanks, I'm officially a designer since last thursday (on fool's day haha!). It's so exciting! I only have very few time to scrap myself but it's great to design.
