i am so totally addicted to the masterchef series in australia! seen them all and can't wait to see season 4! and this question is about the books!

i already have julie goodwins first and second cookbook. also i have the one of adam liaw and 'masterchef australia the cookbook volume two'. (english books).

now i can't seem to get my hands on the first cookbook of masterchef. that is titled 'masterchef australia the cookbook volume one'. and also kate bracks, the winner of season 3, has her cookbook out but isn't available here in holland (yet). now i can wait for the one of kate bracks. i'm sure it will be available here in holland at some point, but i NEED TO HAVE that first volume of the masterchef cookbook.

now i don't care if it's a 'used book', as long as it is in a fair good state.

so the question isn't all that difficult to gues, right? hahaha...

do you know anyone or anyplace where i can get that book? maybe there are sites that you know of that offers used books? or you have a bookstore in your town that has it, or can get it?

i know shipping costs will be expensive (to holland), but hey... i need to be rescued:winking0071:!

it seems to be sold out at a few online places but this place seems to have it:

Hun were the links no good that I gave? I could probably buy one for you, although Season 1's book may be hard to get. We also have a magazine "Masterchef Australia".

I am amazed that an Australian show, other than Neighbours, has hit outside the Antipodes! Wooohooooo!

Didn't Steve Irwin (rip) used to host that show?

it's possible but I don't think so, he had another show... Crocodile Hunter, and perhaps others I can't remember. The other "real" Aussies might be able to tell you!

I know already and I haven't even seen the whole series!!! Ughhrrr... it's unavoidable once the series has ended to not run into some web page where the winner is announced. Oh well... really...

I DON"T CARE!!!
HA! Love this show!

Did you know there is now MasterChef Australie ALL-Stars on!? With Julie in it, and Poh... and Callum, and Kate and more people from the previous series!

I just, how to put it nicely... ahum (HATE) don't like Gordon Ramsey! Don't like the equivalents of Masterchef either! Not even the Dutch version! The Australian series is the best! I don't have anything with Australia, never been there, haven't got any family there or whatever, but they just make a very good show!

Aaaaaaaah how sweet! I'll just call Julia (PM) and tell her what you said and she may give you the key to one of our cities hun! :25r30wi::rofl2:

Do you know who won yet? I think it's obvious................!!

Jopke
04-08-2012, 12:20 PM
Yes I know who has won! But where I'm at right now (episode 45), I think it's nowhere obvious! I'm not going to mention any names, but the person who has won the series, is (at least that's what I think) still in the background.

Oepssss... maybe I said already too much!? Or do you all know who won?

That episode with Jamie Oliver!!!..... men it was the BEST!

Jopke
24-08-2012, 08:54 AM
ONE episode to go..... sigh....! Only one more episode....

(Of course, I already know who won).

But then.... Masterchef ALL STARS!!! YEAH.....!

24-08-2012, 01:19 PM
:giggle: I watched one of those. Julie is such a sweetie. She still thinks she's no good - and she still sweats! :giggle:

Hun I can bring that book for you when I come to Holland.:flower2:

Jopke

SUZIE!!!!! I totally missed your last comment! You are kidding.... right!? You are not really coming to Holland, are you!? Noooo, it can't be, can it? YOU ARE JOKING, right?

But I really REALLY need that book of MasterChef The cookbook volume ONE! And now I need volume THREE also! I mean the AUSTRALIAN version that is! I accidentally once ordered the British version/book, but I DON"T NEED THAT!

You see..... now I'm whining!!!

Ooooooh.... the ALL STARS series was FUN too! Yes, I do so love Julie Goodwin! She reminds me so much of my sister!

Yes I am coming! :flower2: Just for a weekend though. I think it's 7th April or 6th. The Friday back Sunday. back to UK I mean. That's where I am from. I'll look into it and email you to check I have the right books before I get them. :flower2:

OH MY GOSH! How great is that!!!!! Were in Holland are you going to visit Suzie? Do you have family here? I know that Jen is really Dutch (Hahahahaha....) and has still some family here I believe, but I didn't know that about you! How exciting!

Well if you can get your hands on those books (volume 1 and 3), you could post them in Holland to my address. It would be much cheaper than sending them from the UK or Australia! Oh well, we will talk that through when it's time!

Whoaaaaa!
