Anyways, now that I've told you my silly story I want to hear one from you. What's the silliest or funniest or most forgetful thing(s) you've ever done? Let me know here and I will come back Monday night to do a random drawing for $5.00 to my shop. :biggrin8:

When my oldest was still very young (about 18 months) we ran out of diapers on a dark, rainy night. I know, stupid mama! But it happened, and we HAD to have diapers! I bundled her up (and myself!) and we went to Walmart. I parked my car illegally close to the door, and we made the dash for the doors. Once inside, we took our time, and picked out a new pair of shoes for her, as well as some clippies and maybe a cute shirt. After we checked out, we dashed back out to the car in the rain and threw our stuff in, then went home. When I got home I got her ready for bed and couldn't find the diapers... I'd left them underneath the basket in the Walmart parking lot! We raced back there, although I was just SICK knowing that $20 worth of diapers wouldn't last long in the parking lot unattended. Imagine my joy when the rain mysteriously let up for a moment, long enough for me to see that the basket hadn't moved, and our diapers were still there! That might not be my most addle-brained moment, but it's one of my most memorable! ;)

I am full of silly mindless things .............. Got to go get hubby for the latest and greatest LOL :25r30wi:
I had a good laugh about what happend to my oldest (almost 4yo) DD yesterday.
She was running and jumping through our livingroom. While she was doing that, she said to her younger sister: Look Fenna (1y7mths), this is how you do it. Right after she said 'it' she turned her head, and run right into the corner of the wall.
Big blue lump on her forehead.
That was kind of funny, because she wanted to shop Fenna how she had to do that. But than after bumping, she started crying.
Fenna can only say a few words, but : CRY (In dutch: Huilen) is 1 of them. She kept pointing at my oldest and kept shouting: CRY CRY CRY:biggrin8:

For his first birthday (after we got together) I baked my boyfriend (boyfriend back then, husband now) a birthday cake shaped like a tiger head, complete with orange frosting, black stripes, eyes and whiskers. He was turning 24 (not 5) at that time.
You should have seen the look on his face when I brought in that cake :rainbowf: On the one hand he looked stuned about the kids-party-cake, on the other he was so touched that I baked him such a cake. He was just sitting at the table, looking at it, speachless.

My silliest is still a few years ago, when I was working as a secretary/in-house graphic designer for a medium-sized mechanical contracting company (they installed pipes and pipe systems for companies like paper mills, etc.). One day, while I was on phone duty, the UPS delivery man dropped off a rather large box at the front desk. I tried calling the guy it was for directly, but he didn't pick up. So I got on the speakerphone that goes to every phone in every office, and in the warehouses, and out front in the yard, and I said: "Bob, you have a large package up front!"
.
Imagine my mortification when he replied, ALSO on the speakerphone "Why, thank you for noticing!" There was a big silence, and then you could hear laughter pouring out of every single office... :25r30wi:
.
I think I was red in the face for the rest of the day...
