Anybody got something wild and exciting to announce? I'm not bored, but sometimes I like to chat for the sake of chatting.... you know! S'up my digi peeps?
Oh, oh, and I wanted the chance to say that I GOT A NEW LENS!!!!!! As a gift from a friend who wanted to get me something for doing stuff for her... AS IF, but I couldn't refuse it as they spent HOURS researching a lens that would be amazing for me. ANd, and it is a 55-200 mm VR ( I LOVE THE NO SHAKE THING) it makes a cool little noise, and it thrills me to bits. the colors on my photo's with it are DIVINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could have used this bad boy whilst taking those prom pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I know your thinking GREAT, now we gotta look at MORE pics... but I will save you from that, it is exciting enough to announce from here:winking0071:

I'm at work and I'm bored. School is out for summer on Friday so all the kids have lost their damn minds around here (I work at an elementary school, in case you didn't know). We've had such crazy spring weather (it snowed last week) and now that its nice, all the kids are just excited and hyper and ready for summer.

We spent the weekend painting and redecorating our oldest son's bedroom. I'll post pics as soon as Lizzy and I finish decorating it on Thursday night.

Other than that, nothing too crazy going on. I can make something up for you, though, if you need some excitement!

Well how about that????????????? Jenna is 14mths old, and she doesn't even stand up on her own yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone tells me it's my fault as I hold her all the time, but I don't know.......... Actually none of my children walked before 14mths...... and everyone tells me I baby my babies too much. But look, don't believe it, not true, I let Jenna play in a mud puddle the other day. :25r30wi:

My twins were weird... Abby was walking by 11 months and Noah was almost 2. LOL He just DIDN'T want to I guess. We took him to the doctor just to make sure nothing was wrong with him physically!!! LOL Poor little guy... he was just a little slower to do that kinda stuff. I suppose he felt that Abby would do everything FOR him...he didn't need to put in any effort.

She was such a little mother hen. Total opposites now though..he's a daredevil and she's a little more cautious. It's very odd.

I'm going to have to dig out a rat-baby pic. My husband said we should lock it up at night because it scares him in the dark. :giggle:

I wish I had happier news to share. Our house was broken into and the bad guys took off with my newest camera (Nikon D90 it was gripped, my brand new lens 70-200 f/2.8 and my Sb-600) and my laptop. I'm sure they would have gotten more, but my dog interrupted them. Thankfully, I have a backup camera (D80) and other lenses, but I LOVED the D90 like it was my 3rd child.

And instead of using the insurance money to replace my stolen items, I need to use to to pay attorney fees because my DH made a bad decision and drove home after having a few drinks with friends and was arrested for DUI.

Heather sweetie I am SO sorry about the break-in!!! That is just so awful, you feel so violated. :( I'm glad that you have an alarm system now to help you with your peace of mind. We've had a string of break-ins on our street lately (we live in a nice quiet neighborhood) so this makes me really nervous. Hopefully our alarm system and the 4 huge dogs will scare anyone off. :( I'm home by myself with the boys a lot, so I get very nervous.

My exciting news is that Noah (5 months) is sitting on his own now. :) Granted he flops over quite a bit, but he's able to do it on his own without any support for a minute or two at a time! He's also squirming all around the floor and no longer stays in the same place that he was when I put him down, so I'm sure he'll be crawling soon. My older son (2.5) didn't crawl until he was about 8 months, but I think his little brother wants to keep up with him. Dillon wants absolutely nothing to do with him though, LOL! Whenever the baby touches him, he screams 'OUCH!' super loud, LOL! Poor Noah, he just loves his older brother. I'm hopeful that once he starts moving around more that Dillon will see that the baby can be fun. :) Anyway just thought I'd share, proud mama! :)

Newnews from me I am back in school started Monday it is a messed up course I have no idea why I took it networking and infrastruture YUKKK!!!! I am doing good in it jus takes so much of m y time coz I am not the brightest bulb in the box . I try that's all! If I can't do it it is not coz I didn't try. All there is is grotty little houses that should be knocked down! Saw one where bedroom 3 was a sleepout!!!!!!!!! It had the back door in it! Truly........! And another where the gutter was coming off! I am worth more!!!!!!!!!!!! If you could only see the house I am in now...........................it truly is my dream home!!!!!!! Well you could!
