Hi all!!
Ok, I think the answer to my question is yes, but I'm not 100% sure and don't feel like mucking around.

Let's say someone (oh... dunno who... no one I know, a friend perhaps) posted a LO to the gallery, then that person realised the date on the LO was wrong (not that it matters THAT much but you know, it's a good opportunity to ask the question... for my, er... friend, of course!:giggle: )

Ok, so if I were to go to the photo EDIT page, and upload another picture it its place, would I break the gallery or would the picture seamlessly replace the previous picture?

I *think* I tried it once and it worked, but I think the photo wasn't 100% uploaded, it was just in the "waiting" area.....

Do we know, or should I just do a test and report back? One time I think I tried and it broke the thumbnail....
but....
then now I just remembered
Suzie... you have some images replaced by "out to be published"..... so you might know the answer?

anyone?
:flower2:
thanks!

LOL, France! You are so nice to ask for your "friend".

Yes, you should be able to go to "Edit Photo" and just replace the photo with the corrected one your "friend" desires. No, it should not break the gallery! :biggrin8: I've not done it here, but have done it a number of times in galleries with a similar gallery set-up. (I mean, "my friend" did that. Not me, of course!) It worked seamlessly for me.

Hope that helps!

:rofl2: don't you hate those clutzy friends? :25r30wi:
I might go test it. Last time I did it, the thumbnail didn't show up. It's my Book Week 2010 page, in the corner, I wrote the date as 2008! Anyway, I'm not going to fret about it, and I've corrected it here on my original, but I might just go make a test page and see what is going on...

Thanks so much Tracy! Be kind to your "friend" !!!:biggrin8: (I was a bit tired late last night when I wrote that and I was giggling...)

Coming to think of it, I don't need to test it because you have done it, Tracy, and I'm pretty sure Suzie did too. I'll just pay more attention next time if I have to do it.... again, you know, if my friend, *ahem* messes up again... poor thing!!! :rainbowf:

thanks Tracy, again.

You mean your friend hun! :25r30wi::rofl2::haha:

Yes my friends have done it heaps of times! Not only for publication but also for changing a page that they uploaded and weren't happy with! :glis:

It does go into the holding area for an hour or so.

But it's fine for your friend to do it! :giggle:
