Yep!! I am!! I don't know too much about the figure skating peeps. I'm a Canuck, so I wasn't rootin' for Johnny, but I did wonder why he didn't score higher, I thought he was pretty good. That was my first time seeing him.. quite a character!
I'm totally into the Olympics this year.. I found myself stuck on the couch for WAY too long today watching them.

I thought the same thing Amanda...he did really well. I thought Patrick Chan did better than what he scored as well.

Aaargh, i don't have cable, so i am (im) patiently waiting for people to upload to youtube. I'm a fan of that Chinese couple that won the gold for pairs, they are unbelievable! Johnny Weir is funny (I've read a few of his interviews) but I've never seen him skate. I understand he got into hot water for wearing fur or something?

I was soooo happy for that Chinese couple Lex! This was their last chance and they truly deserved it.

We've been watching everything...we've got 3 channels here (I'm a canuk too) that have live coverage pretty much all day so we can take our pick.
My boys (4 and 2 1/2) are enthralled with the snowboarding (yay Canada...gold and silver in snowboard cross!!). They are both telling me they want to do that when they get bigger. We were watching the half pipe prelims today...yikes, not sure I'm ready for that even if the 2 1/2 year old tells me "I-ya careful mommy"

There are actually--except that they are only available to those in the US!!! The official site, any news outlets, they all link back to the official site and I can view the vids because I'm out of the US! :bawl:

My 6 year old was at hockey practice tonight, after practice he was racing around the ice with his arm behind him. Just like the speed skaters LOL

The snowboarding is so cool! I would be worried about my boys too!

Have you tried any of the Canadian Media sites? ctv.ca has live streaming...not sure if they will block international viewers or not...worth a try?
