I know I posted the question somewhere but i can't see it.
Once you answer, I'll delete this thread. :)
too bad we can't all do a progressive pot luck where we all cook and go from house to house and gorge. LOL
I love spicy food so I would definitely stop by Joyces with all her hot spices.
I looked it up too, only older model is available in US and only on ebay.

The marketing thing: It's much more than a food processor, the Thermomix will amaze you with its ability to chop, beat, mix, whip, grind, knead, mince, grate, juice, blend, heat, stir, steam and weigh food. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and wheat free recipes are all easy to make using the Thermomix.
It's a cross between all your kitchen gadgets but it cooks for you too!!!!!!
Website here: http://www.thermomix.com.au/index.html for more info.
PS. It costs A$1939!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw this on cooking show on tv once ... I think it's a great diet. Buy this machine and you won't have money left to buy ingredients. :biggrin8:

I actually SAVE money with it! I never buy anything in a jar or a packet anymore (well, just the basics - sugar, salt, spices, etc). But generally I reckon I have saved the same money in products by making my own - over a year. Truly!
Someone comes around and I whip up a dip just like that! best dip ever!
I can sing the pants off it! HOWEVER...I have discovered that you can't make gingerbread in it as it's too dry so the blades stick in the butter and whirr!!
Just made cinnamen scrolls though!
YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
