I am so tired of sickness

I am seriously sooooo tired of my kids being sick all the time. It seems like they've been jumping from one virus to the other. I think this last time we had about two weeks break and now all three have an awful cough again. Alexis (my youngest) is asleep right now but she's been waking up almost every 15-20 minutes from her cough.
I don't know how to keep them healthy. I am like a maniac, whenever we are out and about I am constantly rubbing their hands with sanitizer and at home they wash their hands all the time.
Well, anyway thanks for letting me vent. I can't wait for summer.

Oh Sasha I am so sorry....we have been going through the same thing since October and we live in Florida, I can only imagine what it would be like if it was really cold here. I hear you about the coughing too, Emma still wakes herself up about 10 times a night coughing and it's been about a month :(

I hope you little ones get well soon, and remember you are doing what you can to keep them healthy and that's all you can do. They will get older and their immune systems will get stronger (at least that's what my pediatrician keeps telling me).

We've had strep three times already . . . and just bad sinus issues and/or colds. I feel ya! I am SO ready for Spring!

Snif snif, I feel you too! Quincy was home for a week now, Damion 2 days this week and I am sick for about two weeks now! (hihihi, thuesdaynight it was the firts time I ever had hallucinations from fever , spiders everywhere:loudlaff:) I can't wait for the sun to come out and warm us and shoot some energy! :)

I can definitely relate and empathize. I have been so sick off and on since November. This last bout sent me to the hospital to try and find relief. I had a severe sinusitis and oritis it was terrible and I missed this past week from work. Great to have a break, not great because that is not how I wanted to take a break, plus I am going stir crazy. I hope everyone gets better.

I'm so sorry, Sasha! I've had other friends complain about sickness too (and I live in a tropical country so I don't think it's just the weather). And right now I'm monitoring a hubs who had a high fever last night :( Ugh! It sucks to be sick!

Sorry to hear your kids being sick Sasha! I don't have kids, but I know how it is to tend to a sick family member, not to mention my own sick days too. I have sinusitis, IBS, lactose intolerance - oftentimes I feel like a walking medical emergency. I carry medicines with me ALL the time. I am tired of ME being sick often :-(

oh, I absolutely know how you are feeling, Sweetie. my boys seem to be ill all the time too. Since kindergarten started we are always ill and I hate it

Thanks for the support girls. I am sorry you have all been sick too, I agree I am so ready for spring. I think once that sun is out more our energy levels will be higher allowing us to fight things off better.
Well, I woke up with fever this morning too so whatever the girls have I have it too.
Luckily I have a wonderful husband who is letting me rest and watching the kids.

Same here, Sophie! knock on wood...we have had some little ickies here and there but nothing major. We've been blessed this year. Last year was dreadful! February was an evil month for us last year!
I'm so sorry you've been dealing with all the sickness, Sasha!! I hope everyone feels better soon and stays healthy! Spring just can't get here quick enough for me.
