Question My shadows are going in all directions!

Hi all!!! Wondering if anyone has a tip for me....
I have used a template, which had shadows, so I used those shadows, but also used shadow styles on many many many elements, and those styles did not have the "use global light settings" , I went to Layers, Global Light, and set the angle, but all the elements on which I used a style, aren't following.....

I can go element to element and click on "use global light" but is there a shortcut to make sure ALL layers on the page use the Global Light Setting???

I'm off to research this as well but thought, with the brain power in this forum, someone might know!

Edited to add: I use CS (CS1) but have access to a computer with CS5, and I think maybe it's a CS5 thing (I'm reading the web..... back later! well, not the WHOLE web, just a page or two on my problem!!!!! )

sorry hun, I don't know any shortcut for this...

if it helps at least a bit, you can COPY a layer style of an element that has shadows to your liking (by right-clicking on the layer in the layer palette - Copy Layer Style) and paste that style to another element if you want the same shadow on it (also directly from the layer palette, without going through the Blending Option window)

Hi Romy!!! Thanks for that.... I had layers of papers and flowers and different elements, and yeah, didn't want them to all end up the same.... (I mean same style, I did want the light in all directions) so I went layer by layer and clicked the little box for "use global light"..... lucky I'm not one of those SUPER clusterers with millions of layers!!!!! I looked and looked and you can set the Global light for all layers, provided all layers already have the little box checked, that's it, that's all.
Thanks..... it was a learning experience
