- And Windsor - you should go to Windsor! The castle is pretty and the whole surrounding area is lovely. There is a Cheesecake shop there apparently!

You take the train from Paddington train station in London (catch the Tube) and go to Slough then hop across to the other platform and the train will go to Windsor. Now I have found something that says Waterloo to Windsor direct?? Check it obviously.
You could catch the train from Windsor to Shere of course and do both.
These would be my recommendations as they would make you feel like you are in England! You know how you go to countries and need to feel like you are IN that country.
Would recommend these 2 places and knock plymouth on the head!
