Jo-Anne, the threads get checked at the end of the month, not every day (that would be a crazy amount of work! *lol*)--so just make sure your request is in before the end of the month happens in the Netherlands (about 1/2 day before it ends in the US!) Congratulations on having "saved up" so much!!!
I wrote in red the redeeming in september. I know that this is early start of october, but I did my october-post. I didn't get my GC yet (i know, I know, this is too early to send it, I'm patient ), so I write redeem in october too and I wrote the whole point - before the redeem. I thought that I will edit it when I get my GC. This is OK or I should edit it now?

GC's will always be sent before the 10th of each new month.
They haven't been sent out yet, but I am planning to do that today!
