I have it since 2 weeks and I have for the moment 75GB stored.
Still backing up my photos ... It's not running all day long, I think 12-14 hours a day.
19897 photos are stored for the moment.

I have also a lot of scrapping stuff and CU stuff to backup. Every time I shutt off my laptop, it has to restart to look what has already done from the NAS and that's taking a long time...

My backup's done! I obviously don't take as many photos as you guys!!!!
I figured out that the scheduler works in "days" from 12-12 (i.e. 12:01AM to 11:59PM to make it easier to understand).... so when I was asking mine to pause between 10am and 3am, it just could NOT understand that as according to the way it "sees" days, 3am is before 10 am.....

I'm still miffed at their help, if the first person had bothered reading my quest for help properly, we could avoided the several emails that followed. I even finally got a reply from one of the supervisors, who, in ONE single email, was helpful (though I am the one who explained to him what I thought the problem was). I got a lot of running around and STUPID and USELESS replies from their support, but in the end all's well... but, just to make me laugh I think, I got an email asking if I wanted to pay for support.... I ain't going to pay a cent if that's the type of help I'm going to get

All in all, it all ran smoothly after I understood the 12-12, and I just let it run its course... and now I'm done (did the most important stuff only). I probably will add a few more folders now that the crucial ones are done.

Oh France hun. Sorry you had problems. How frustrating!

Interestingly, I had originally D/L CrashPlan as they seemed the best at the time. Now every single advertising website I go to has CrashPlan as an advert! Not Just Cloud or mypcbackup. So the sweet innoscent crash Plan includes adware in their download and is implating adware into my system. When I queried this with my internet security people (Kaspersky) they said because I had it installed and I asked Kaspersky to ignore anything from CrashPlan, the system was ignoring it!!!!!!!!!!! So I uninstalled it (thinking I thought I'd already donw that!) and it is still coming up!!! I have sent a message to Crash Plan now to ask what the hell's going on!
Grrrrrr! I am so pleased I didn't go with them!

I think it searches for new files. Apparently Windows has some mirror thing which back up companies use. It tells them what changes have been made to files or something - no idea how it works - but Apple don;'t have it! Booyah! One up on Mac!

I'm almost done with uploading to justcloud and yesterday I saw I can't storage files anymore from my NAS to the storage cloud server. If I want to enable it, I have to pay $99
I've send them an email about the NAS before I bought the 3 years membership and they said it wasn't any problem for the NAS and now they do this
I first thought the NAS wasn't connected to the internet but I checked the settings and the access to my NAS has been deleted!!!
I've tried to do it again but than I get that stupid window to upgrade for $99!!
I'm gonna send them an e-mail about this and hope I will get the access to my NAS back for free...

I got an e-mail back

I’m sorry to hear of your disappointment but we have had to follow our competitors and implement this charge in line with our fair usage policy due to an increasing number of users abusing our service.
Users were never suppose to be allowed to backup network drives or external drives over 32GB as part of any home user plan, but we let users have this ability for free up until now.
A great upside though is that the system as a whole is now faster than ever and we can maintain the lowest price in industry.
Very soon you will be able to switch to a Home Office plan which gives you unlimited free external drives, network drives, and 1GB+ file upload for just $9.95/month and switching will be as simple as just clicking the business link that will be inside your control panel for more information.
Again I’m sorry that we had to copy our competitors and make these changes but we believe this makes for a better service for the whole community

yeah right, I'm not gonna pay €99.95 for the NAS backup storage!! Gonna look for another solution because that's a lot of money for me! They never said anything of a limit for the NAS or nothing is in their FAQ's about it... Should it be my fault that I've already backed up over 200GB from my NAS to justcloud unlimited is unlimited for me

I remember you asking them. Hun I would fight this. Have you still got their email? If you look online at your account I think it has "help tickets" (or whatever they are called ) recoreded there. They said you could do it and you signed up and now they are going back on their word. It's not right.

I am at 50% after3.5 months of almost continuous backup! So it should take 7 months in total to back up. Good job I didn't take the one year plan!
