- And Windsor - you should go to Windsor! The castle is pretty and the whole surrounding area is lovely. There is a Cheesecake shop there apparently! You MUST have a cream tea there though!
You take the train from Paddington train station in London (catch the Tube) and go to Slough then hop across to the other platform and the train will go to Windsor. Now I have found something that says Waterloo to Windsor direct?? Check it obviously.

You could catch the train from Windsor to Shere of course and do both.

These would be my recommendations as they would make you feel like you are in England! You know how you go to countries and need to feel like you are IN that country.

Would recommend these 2 places and knock plymouth on the head!

You're more than welcome hun. My aunt is in UK from New Zealand for 3 months so she may tag along too - although they are off to Cuba (the un-commercialised side!) but not sure when. Now she is an absolute hoot! She has soooooooooo many stories to tell. She travelled the world - litterally! She's even been to Antarctica and stayed on a deserted island for 40 nights (or something!) - she was a freelance travel journalist and photographer - yes another pro photographer in the family!!!
