Mopping....MUST DO IT!!!

So you ladies know that I am a bit obsessive about mopping....

You girls also know that I have taken on the responsibility of raising (custody) of my two grandchildren....

so mopping has become a chore that I need to do so much more often and have LESS time to do it.....

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....I have been on the prowl to find a way to make it easier...

I really have been trying to come up with something:

NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK!! AND THAT MEANS..................
DIRTY FLOORS!!!

But.....finally two weeks ago I came across something that seems to work so AWESOME.....I never had much faith in these things, but a friend told me to try this one...it was GREAT.....

I broke down and bought this one:

It dry vacuums on one side and then you flip it around and it MOPS!! REALLY WELL!!!! It's awesome.....It even dries it too.....WOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!

Do you know how happy this mop lady is right now??????????

Is this so sad??? that I am this excited over a MOP?????????????????????????????????????

HAHA!!!

Yes Romy....looking at my floors sometimes really does about make me have a nervous breakdown....I walk barefoot all the time...and I can NOT stand anything dirty or sticky or yucky on the floor.....

I have worn out about 15 swiffer mops they are just no good....they do an okay job if you need to mop quickly..and I do the REAL mop twice a week...then that swiffer thing everyday....but lately I have not had the time....well for months now....so the mess is bigger each time I do mop...which is once..sometimes twice a week....

but with this little dude....I can dry vac everyday..quickly and you can spray a squirt while you dry vac on a sticky spot if you need to....and then when I actually mop, it has a scrub brush you can put on and it scrubs and mops up very quickly....way faster than the string mop and bucket. WOOOOT!!!

NOW...................ARE YOU WITH ONA??? or have you been with her?? if so...did you raise a glass in my honor?? or just drink a couple for me??

And I don't mop in frustration.....no time.....

I want one! I hate mops - I have a swiffer wet jet and I think its crappy. I have the regular ol mop heads, and I hate using them because they are so darn messy. I may have to get that one. I'm sick of a rag on my hands and knees.

Oh I detest mopping too. I always hope that leaving it means DH will get the mop out and do it instead!

ok here are my questions about it:

1. Can you put any cleaner in it?
2. Are the pads washable?
3. Is it safe for wood floors?

Dalis...

1. It says to only use Bissell 2x concentrate in it...but like anything else, look at the contents of that cleaner and you can find something comparable...but however...I did not find anything that was cheaper ....when you fill the tank, the solution is so concentrated that it only takes a very small amount and then the rest water....it comes with one small bottle....I just ordered some of it online....I searched for a coupon and found a 10% off plus free shipping from Bissell and it was not all that expensive.

2. Yes....throw the pads in the washing machine

3. Yes....they make a 2x contrate for wood floors as well.
