OMG ! Robert Jacketti & the Scooters ... where did all those years go ???

IIIIIII SAVE TODAAAAYYYYY, I SAVE TOMORROOOOOWWWW ...

Remember "The Shorts" ?
*Singing voice on (better close your ears*
Comment ça va
Comme ci comme ci comme ci comme ça
Tu ne comprend rien a l'amour
Restez la nuit, restez toujours !
*Singing off*
The Dutch version of the song of course, luckily the chorus stays the same

The first singles I bought were these :
When the lady smiles by Golden Earring
'k Heb m'n lolly op by Dick & Lollipop (wow, you can still find it on the net *blush*)

No two singles can be more different than these two ! I still go wild when I hear the first one. I think I would also do that when I hear the second, but than in a not so good way.

OH I have these Jen....they are sooooooooo beautiful!!! I adore them both!!

Thank you so much for reminding of them...I really need to pull them out and play them for my babies here!!!

Get so wrapped up in the educational tools, I forget to throw a little beautiful music in sometimes!!!!

They both are such soothing pieces!!

Oh, and yes...these were not around when I was a small child either...

I love those songs . . . but it's been ages since I've heard them!

Some of my favorites (obviously I liked The Muppet Show and Sesame Street):

I have no sound so can't hear!!! In fact we have a huge national IQ test thing happening here (George told me about it! - my 10 year old!!! ) So we log into the national IQ website together and the first 4 questions are video clips - so I had to guess (as we don't have sound/speakers) as they said "What did so and so say"........and I got them all wrong! And just for the record, George answered all the Math questions as I hadn't got clue!

And this:
2x7+5 =

I put 19 as 2x7 = 14; 14+5=19.

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

It's 2 times 7+5 which is 26!

Anyway - so me and George IQ was 106!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is that shockingly bad?

Well Suzie, I gotta tell you girl I think you are right on the math problem...

We always learned “Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally”. (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiply and Divide from left to right, and finally, Add and Subtract from left to right.)

So if there are no parentheses you should multiply & then add, which would give you your answer of 19 - so I think you are smarter than your IQ test!!!!

Back to original topic - I loved Schoolhouse Rock too Cheryl!!! Off to check out some more of these links
