Joyce is correct, I close all ending Monthly Challenges and Challenge Points, and open all new ones no earlier than Midnight GMT on the 1st.
(which is 4PM the last day of the month, my time in Los Angeles CA. - until the time change, then it will be 5PM my time)

If I want to redeem my challenge points is it enough to just write Redeem 20 points in my challenge points thread or do I have to send a PM/email to let you know I want to redeem my points this month? if a message is needed - who shall I PM/email?
No need to send a message, write that you want to redeem your points (as in the first post in this thread - in red preferably), and Joyce sends Gift Certificates at the beginning of each month.
