Gallery Question re: 5 Uploads

Hi all!
I'm having problems I think I can't count.
When I look at my album, it seems I've uploaded less than 5 images, even in the last two days.... and it won't let me upload, so I guess my question is:
If you upload a picture, and you place it in other galleries, for instance, I upload one picture (which automatically goes into my gallery), I set it to also go in the store Collab. Gallery, and in the Lift Gallery...

Does this count as one, or two or three uploads?

Would it be better to upload the image, then copy it to other galleries?

Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

I just seem to be told I've done my 5 uploads but I haven't (well, not the way I thought I understood)...

I think that when you upload 1 layout to multiple (let's say 3) categories, the system sees this as 3 uploads.
I have tried to change this, but I can't. (I received the same question a while ago)

I removed the upload limit a while ago because of this, but as a result a lot of people started uploading more than 5 layouts a day.

I will look into this again soon!

Hun - not sure I understand. I upload a page and click on say Joyce paul and then when the second page comes up I then add the other designer's and click submit. It does show up in all the designers galleries you put in but I think it only officially uploads once.

Actually just re-read and from the last sentecnce I think you have uploaded one page but to many galleries and it is saying you have done your 5 pages for today. Is that right? (sound like the Telstra lady don't I!!! )

Actually - sorry to keep posting! - I did notice that when you upload to say 2 galleries that the page can have say 5 comments in 1 gallery but when you go into the other designer's gallery that same page can have no comments - so yes, I guess that would then be copied.

I have to upload some now so I'll check my post count and come back. I guess if you upload one page to 3 galleries then the post count should increase by 3 posts.

Hi Joyce (thanks for moving the thread to the right forum, and glad to see you online!)
That's fine, I just needed to know if it was really that. I think limits are fine and I was by no means complaining about it.
Maybe next time I'll upload, then later copy to the galleries I want them to go in, and see how that goes. Maybe then that will count only as one upload. I think it's neat to be able to add stuff to designer galleries when you use lots of their stuff.

Suzie, please, get back when you find out. I don't really mind which way it does it, but it left me scratching my head when I uploaded 2 and it said I'd exceeded my limits (and I did select other galleries too, so I guess that's it)... I thought maybe it was a time-zone issue too, which it could have been.

If you just want it to count as one upload you need to upload and then go in and add the additional categories. Also the 24 hour time period is rotating so if you upload 3 at 0900 and then at 1900 upload 2 more you can't upload more until 0901 the next day and then only 3.

Thankyou for posting this question with all the answers.....today, i'd reached my limit after 2 LO's but to multiple galleries - all makes sense now!
Can someone tell me how to copy to another gallery... (so i can add to another designer's gallery without using up the upload limit of 5 too quickly)
