Thumbs up Suzie's Spag Cab (Spaghetti Cabonara)

What? I hear you cry!!! Suzie cooked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got ingredients off the internet but prompty lost the recipe (page not found it said!!) So made it up sort of!! I cook with a Themomix (TM) but have dione both seeing as most of the world now has a Thermomix!!!

Feeds 6 people:
1 brown onion (half for TM)
3 garlic cloves (2 for TM)
400g chopped bacon
3 eggs
+ 1 egg yolk
400g Parmasan cheese
bunch parsley
100ml thickened cream

Cook the spaghetti.
Meanwhile:
whizz up onion & garlic in the TM or chop finely in food processor or even by hand!
Add 400g chopped bacon
A lug of olive oil as Jamie would say!!
Cook (I did 5 min speed 1 temp 70 in the TM)
Empty into a bowl.
Put broken Parmasan and parsley into TM and whizz for 2 seconds speed 5
- or grind Parmasan and finely chop parsley

get a big bowl. Add the Spaghetti, cream, bacon mix and parmasan -parsley mix and add all the eggs. Mix up. The heat will cook the eggs.

VIOLA! "Spag cab"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI: You only need less fresh onion and garlic in the TM as the juices all stay in there - not on the board or in the food processor bowl!!!!!! Everyone asks that question!!!
