JOURNALING SAYS:
My obsession with the Chrysler building evolved slowly. In my early 20’s, I was a dreamer. I had a fascination with New York City. (I still do, although I’ve never been.) I dreamed of one day living in an expensive penthouse condo in Manhattan. Then in my 30’s, the Internet came into our home and allowed me to travel through Manhattan without ever leaving my chair. That is when I fell in love with the Art Deco grandeur in the sky that is the Chrysler building. From there, my obsession evolved even further to include the Art Deco style of architecture and design in general. I hope that one day I can visit New York City and see this beautiful building with my own eyes.
